I have edited my loops in Reaper so that there is no clipping when the loop returns to start and loops over again but when i get it into a loop player in AM it does the little popping/ clipping noise when it repeats. what am i doing wrong?

Reaper can (if the setting is enabled) automatically put in a volume curve when you slice a region of audio. The best way to make sure you won't get a clip is to check both ends of the audio region that the beginning and end are cut at 0dB - not a + or - value. Zoom right in and have a look to make sure they are, then render out and try in Mulch again. You may not hear it in Reaper due to these default volume curves.
Or it could be a driver issue, I'm not sure if it would make a difference, but what driver are you using? I've had some odd glitching when the driver has reset itself to MME or similar.
um i doing all this in an Open Labs Miko how would i check to see what driver its using
i know bout those volume curves or fades how do you cut the beggining and ends of the audio region to 0dB?
somebody please help what is causing my loops to freakin clip when i go from one to another ahhhhhhh!!!!!!!!
Hello Aaron. I don't know how to do this in Reaper, but in a normal wave editor (perhaps try audacity) you can zoom right in and crop the waveform on a zero crossing. So you select the loop start right at the start of a drum hit, where it rises from the zero (middle line). Similarly at the end of the loop you want to get the waveform at a zero crossing so that it would connect up in the same direction as the start of the loop.
I think this video shows what I'm talking about:

Some wave editors will automatically align cut points to zero-crossings when you're zoomed out. You may also want to use a short fade out at the end of the loop to force it to silence... depends how you want it to sound.

Another thing. I'm not sure how you're switching loops, but if you're using presets and switching in the middle of a loop, you might get clicks.. I'd recommend using multiple LoopPlayers like in the previous video I posted. -- Ross
